Badlands National Park

Beautiful cool morning as we headed into the Badlands. Perfect time to visit, not many people this time of year. The road went up and down, left and right with lots of turnouts and overlooks with great view's.

We exited the Park to go and see Wall and the famous Wall Drug. We have been seeing Wall Drug signs for 200 + miles. Quite a place. We had lunch and headed back into the Park.

This entrance had some Buffalo and people were trying to get pictures of these huge animals. We headed west on a rough gravel road looking right and left for Prairie Dogs. We arrived at Robert’s Prairie Dog Town. They were all over the place but rather camera shy. Saw some more Buffalo.

Cars were few and we exited the Park and headed to the town named Scenic. Scenic is basically a ghost town and we found nothing open. The place was right out of an old west movie.

We left Scenic and headed back to the bus, 40 miles and very few Ranches or anything else.
